NUC Underclassmen Camp Tampa, FL

I would like to start out by thanking Coach Siciliano for allowing our company, SleeperRecruit, access to their camp. The day started off with great sunny and breezy weather. The participants were anxiously awaiting their 10:30 start time with some players on the field loosening up, some standing on the fence watching. The 10:30 start time arrived and Coach Sicilano directs all players and parents to the bleachers, where he informs them of how the camp was going to be conducted. He introduces his assistants and their positions after briefly discussing the camps objectives. The players are called by position to register and to receive their shirts. Players were then directed to the field where they were separated by position to perform the vertical jump 40 times and also the standing broad jump. They then moved on to the agility drills with the positional drills taking place a short while later. They also worked on 1 on 1 drills where a few players grabbed my attention.

I would like to congratulate all of the award winners and say to all the young male athletes that participated to continue working hard because it pays off.  This display of talent was pretty solid at the NUC camp although some talents need more development. It was also really nice to see and talk to the families of the athletes that participated. It was a good camp that showcased young talent that was eager to succeed.
